Hi Ali, you’re an amazing human. Thank you for writing about your painful experiences so openly. It’s your way to embrace the wholeness and entirety of the human experience - honoring your journey and learning from your Dad’s. I wish you all the peace, joy, love and wholeness of this earthly experience.
I guess this is why I'm an astrologer, but I couldn't live without knowing the reasons why my dad left. I would analyze it until I understood every nuance. Because once you do understand, the actions don't hurt as badly. My therapist told me that we're all just trying to survive. And I think about that all the time. Thoreau: "The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation." So sorry for your loss.
This was an extremely moving piece, thank you for sharing it. Your observations and realisations along the way were so well-thought out, I will definitely be left pondering on it for a while. I'm wishing you and your family all the best ❤️
Very raw and interesting, I can relate, thanks for putting it into words, it takes an immense power to write so truthfully
